It seems I’m becoming a magnet for platform branded furnishings and clothing recently! What with the PlayStation themed Pottery Barn furniture, A Pokémon waffle maker, and even a Mario themed Christmas wreath. Well, there’s even more now because yesterday PlayStation pushed a video announcing a new collaboration with NBA All-Star Paul George.

The full collaboration is between PlayStation, Nike Basketball, and Paul George and the three have birthed a new sneaker called the PG 2.5 x PlayStation colorway. It’s inspired by the original PlayStation console this time around, and not Nike’s Paul George Fortnite sneakers.

Back in 2017, we saw the PG 1 sneakers star in a rendered video trailerEarlier this year the PG 2 x PlayStation sneakers were available, a collaboration effort between Paul George, Nike Basketball and PlayStation and inspired by the PS4’s DualShock4 Controller.

The new PG 2.5 x PlayStation colorway comes in the original PlayStation classic grey, with the official red, yellow, blue, and green PlayStation classic logo on the tongue of one sneaker. On the other sneaker, there’s a Paul George logo in blue.

The sneakers once again feature the laces and strap combo with the PlayStation’s iconic symbols repeated over the straps. On the side of the sneakers, the Nike logo sits on the inside and outside, each one in the red, green, blue, and yellow color.

You can watch the trailer below that shows off every angle of the sneakers, and I have to say…they look cushioned!

The PG 2.5 x PlayStation colorway sneakers are to be available on December 1 globally for $110 and are very close to the release of the upcoming PlayStation Classic console that’s due to arrive December 3.
