This has certainly been a long time coming. While a PlayStation Vita version of Papers, Please was discussed years ago, nothing ever came out about the project and it was never officially announced. Developer Lucas Pope even went on record citing that there were issues with the game’s UI on the Vita that would need to be solved before they could even get it out the door.

Well, it seems like they have figured out a way to make it work, as it’s been officially revealed that the game will finally be making its way to Sony’s handheld. The best part? You won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on it, as it’ll be arriving tomorrow, December 12, 2017.

The news was revealed on Lucas Pope’s official Twitter account. The tweet, which you can check out at the end of the article, shows a picture of a PlayStation Vita running the game, along with the tagline “12/12.”

For those who don’t know, Papers, Please is roughly considered a puzzle, however it can be better cited as “bureaucracy simulator.” The game tasks players with processing immigrants across the border of a dystopian European country. If you process them correctly you’ll receive rewards which can be used for supplies.

Papers, Please was originally released on August 8, 2013, and is also available on Windows PC, OS X, Linux, and iOS devices. Check out the tweet below:
