Originally debuting on Steam Early Access in the beginning of last year, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds went pretty quickly from being an unknown entity to one of the main sparks for the battle royale craze currently taking over the games industry, and since that time PUBG has seen some incredible growth according to new stats from its development studio.

Developer PUBG Corp has revealed that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has reached over 50 million copies sold in its lifetime across PC and Xbox One. When taking mobile into account, the game’s player base skyrockets to around 400 million registered users, while over 87 million players are accessing the game daily on average, according to PUBG Corp.

The news comes on top of the most recent update arriving for the game later this week, and while PUBG is facing some pretty steep competition in the market of battle royale titles such as its main competitor, Fortnite, and the impending battle royale modes coming to major AAA titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Battlefield V, the stats from PUBG Corp indicate there is still a quite large audience looking to win their chicken dinners.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now on PC, Xbox One, iOS, and Android.
