Since its launch back in March through Steam’s Early Access program, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has become a global phenomenon that’s shown little signs of stopping since its debut, with the game having crossed a brand new threshold in sales.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has now surpassed 10 million units sold, as announced in a press release from the development team, as the title is showing little signs of slowing down with sales having ramped up each month since its debut.

In addition to the new sales milestone, several of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds other achievements since release have been highlighted, including the recent PUBG Invitational that was held at this year’s Gamescom 2017 in Cologne, Germany. Specifically, the event brought together 92 players from 19 countries around the world, with the competition taking place across four of the game’s modes. Overall, the event’s peak online viewership on Twitch topped at 566,000 viewers on the first day, while on PandaTV the event reached as high as 5.6 million viewers on the first day, as well.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now on PC through Steam Early Access; the full release for the same is currently targeting 2018. An Xbox One version of the title is also currently in development and expected to release sometime later this year.
