Physical Switch Release for Penny-Punching Princess Cancelled in United Kingdom

NIS America released some unfortunate information regarding the physical Nintendo Switch release of in the United Kingdom.

The publisher provided further details of the cancellation by stating that “due to unforeseen circumstances”, the standard edition release physical retail release of Penny-Punching Princess won’t be released in that region. This is due to the publisher’s orders not being fulfilled by the supplier to release on the game’s official release date. It’s because of this that the publisher has opted to cancel the physical release of Penny-Punching Princess.

The company concludes by adding “we would like to extend our personal thanks for your support of this title and our company” and to look forward to the digital release on Nintendo Switch eShop and PlayStation Vita PSN.

Penny-Punching Princess is set to release digitally to PlayStation Vita, and physically and digitally to Nintendo Switch on April 3 in North America, and March 30 in Europe minus the physical Switch release. This will not impact the physical release in Europe or Australia.

Penny-Punching Princess has players assume the role of Princess who not only loses her family but also the overall rule of the land from the evil Dragonloan family. Players must fight through hordes of enemies in order to complete missions as they slowly help the Princess gain back her kingdom.
