Persona is Crossing Over with Phantasy Star Online 2 in Latest Event

Just a few weeks after coming to Steam and receiving new add-on content related to Half-LifePortal, and Team Fortress 2Phantasy Star Online 2 is now crossing over with another major franchise, but this time around, it’s one that hits a bit closer to home for Sega.

Beginning today, new items from Atlus’ beloved JRPG series Persona have now made their way into PSO2. In what is being dubbed the “Persona Paradox, this latest AC Scratch Ticket event for the highly-popular MMO brings new cosmetic items into the game from Persona 3Persona 4, and Persona 5. In addition, some of the iconic music from the series has also made its way over in addition to some collectibles from Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight.

In total, there are 12 different outfits that you can pick up for your own character in this event, with some of the most notable being those that resemble Teddy from P4 and Joker from P5. Four different pieces of outerwear, 10 basewear items, 3 pieces of innerwear, and a litany of new accessories have also been added to the game. In short, be sure to save up those tickets if you want to try and snag as many of these items for yourself before the event reaches its conclusion. The Persona Paradox event starts today in Phantasy Star Online 2 and will last until September 9 at 2am EDT. As for PSO2 itself, the game is now available to play on both PC and Xbox One and will be receiving an expansion called New Genesis in 2021.
