Today, Deep End Games’ Creative Director Bill Gardner shared a teaser of Perception’s launch screen on a Switch. Gardner shared the image via a tweet from PAX West.

Since Perception’s PC launch in May and the release for Xbox One and PS4 this past June, Switch players have remained on shaky ground as to whether the title could ever make it to the console. Is this a glimmer of hope? If so, players would see (pun intended) horror from a new perspective on the Switch.

The last we heard of Perception possibly coming to the Switch was back in February of this year. Here we are about 7 months later with a possible answer.

Within the past few months, Perception has received updates which include new difficulty modes.

Perception is a first-person narrative horror adventure which was funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Taking place in Gloucester, MA, it’s the story of main protagonist Cassie, who returns to an abandoned mansion after a series of nightmares. The spooky catch, Cassie is blind and uses her heightened senses to hear and navigate her way through a terrifyingly dark environment.

As of right now, there is no indication as to whether this is final, or on any possible release window. We will be sure to update you once we obtain more information.

Perception is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For more on the title and its back story, be sure to read DualShocker’s interview with the husband and wife creators, Amanda and Bill Gardner.
