As Overwatch League concludes its second week of Stage 3, the Overwatch Contenders Playoffs begin. The Path to Pro season has ended, eight teams — which include Overwatch League Academy teams — from both North American and European regions have earned a spot in the post-season.
The games occurring today will spotlight the Contenders North America teams. Here is the full list of matchups:
- Toronto Esports (Boston Uprising) vs. NRG Esports (San Francisco Shock)
- EnVision vs. XL2 Academy (New York Excelsior)
- Fusion University (Philadelphia Fusion) vs. Mayhem Academy (Florida Mayhem)
- Gladiators Legion (Los Angeles Gladiators) vs. OpTic Academy (Houston Outlaws)
The Contenders Europe leg will begin its playoffs season next Sunday, Aprill 22 at 4 p.m. CEST. It will then continue on Monday, April 23 at 6 p.m. CEST for the last two matches. Here is the full list:
- British Hurricane (London Spitfire) vs. Young and Beautiful
- CIS Hop vs. Orgless and Hungry
- Eagle Gaming vs. Team Gigantti
- Angry Titans vs. Copenhagen Flames
The first match begins today at 6 p.m. PDT and can be watched on the Overwatch Contenders official Twitch channel.
