Bandai Namco Entertainment just reached out with a press release to announce that One Piece: World Seeker has been delayed to next year.

Previously, the game was expected to be released in 2018, but with no release date announced, time was starting to run out.

The press release comes with a message from Chief Producer Koji Nakajima, mentioning that One Piece: World Seeker is the most ambitious One Piece game ever created. Bandai Namco is aware of the title’s potential and wants to fulfill the fans’ expectations. That’s why they took the difficult decision of delaying the game to create the best possible experience.

The game will come next year, and it has been announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Yet, the developers may consider a Switch port down the line if the fans ask for it.
