The Creative Director behind Gearbox Software’s multiplayer hero-shooter Battleborn, Randy Varnell, announced that the game has “no planned content after the Fall Update.”

Varnell did point out that “Battleborn is here to stay.” The game’s servers will remain up and running for the “foreseeable future”. Any additional changes that’ll come to the game will be announced on the studio’s forum or social media.

The fall update will include some additional skins based on characters from the Borderlands series. Also, it’ll make some changes to title art in the game, as well as additional Finisher Boosts and Taunts.

Earlier this year, Battleborn received a free trial on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 that grants you access to all of the game’s content for a limited period of time.

Varnell also mentioned that he’d be playing a “significant role” on a “highly anticipated project.” At the end of the post he included a shift codes Yuu for a character skin in-game:

During a panel at PAX West this year, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford teased that ninety percent of the Studio is working on Borderlands 3. This is more than likely the game Varnell is talking about in his post.

Battleborn is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
