Nintendo announced late last night that it will be holding a new livestream dedicated to Terry Bograd and the upcoming 6.0 update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tomorrow. When the stream was announced, many immediately took note of the planned 45-minute runtime and expected that there would be far more announcements and reveals rather than just divulging what’s coming in the latest update. However, Nintendo has stated that this isn’t the case.

In a follow-up tweet after the reveal of the announcement of the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate stream, Nintendo said that it will not have anything to mention regarding upcoming DLC characters. “During this livestream, there are no announcements regarding any unrevealed fighters,” Nintendo said plainly, dashing the hopes and dreams of many.

With this in mind though, it begs the question: what will Nintendo and director Masahiro Sakurai be touching on in this stream that will make it last 45-minutes? For reference, the last time Nintendo held a stream like this for the 5.0 update of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the gameplay reveal of Banjo-Kazooie, it only ended up last 25-minutes. For this upcoming stream to be a full 20-minutes longer, it makes it seem as though there is a lot more to touch on this time around that you would initially expect. If recent leaks are any indication, we could be getting some new Mii Fighter outfits based on properties like DOOM and Super Mario RPG.

Regardless of what Sakurai and company have to reveal though, we’ll find out soon enough. The upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate stream will take place tomorrow, November 6, at 8am EST/5am PST. In all likelihood, Terry will also probably be added to the game this week as well.
