Splatoon 2 is well known for having a charming group of pop-idol hostesses in its cast of characters–be it Marina and Pearl or returning favorites Callie and Marie. Two years ago, Callie and Marie were even pitted against each other in a Splatfest to the death…or at least that’s my head canon, anyway.

Regardless of which squid-girl you think is best squid-girl (or octopus-girl, if you’re into that), fans of Splatoon and of the pop-idol hostesses should rejoice: Nintendo has released a half-hour long recording of Marina, Pearl, Callie and Marie performing live (sort of) at Polymanga 2018 for fans who couldn’t be there. This is your chance to see Splatoon 2 enter into the bright world of holograms and jam out to the dolcid tones of our inky siren friends.

The concert features a live band and several songs from Splatoon 2, including Off the Hook and several songs from the game being performed by Pearl and Marina. Not to be outdone, Callie and Marie also make an appearance, singing a few of their latest and greatest hits . The finale ends with all four girls singing and dancing together, and it’s a pretty neat showing.

Splatoon 2 hosts a number of exciting events, ranging from concerts like these to Splatfests. You can check out our review of the game here and look forward to the upcoming Octo Expansion, or grab the base game for Nintendo Switch via Amazon.
