As a follow-up to the cult hit fighting game, Nidhogg 2 debuted last summer with an increased level of insanity and complexity to its sword-fighting gameplay, and now Xbox One owners can duel to the death with the game’s release on the platform.
Developer Mark Essen revealed that Nidhogg 2 has officially been released on Xbox One. The game can be purchased now over on the Xbox Games Store for $14.99, though a launch discount is in place for those that can pick up the game now.
In addition to the game’s launch on Xbox One, Essen also revealed that the Xbox One version also features some new levels to give added variety and depth to the game’s signature sword-fighting gameplay.
Aside from the Xbox One release, earlier in the year it was announced that the game will also be coming to Nintendo Switch later this year, though no specific release date for that version of the game has been announced at this time.
Nidhogg 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac, and will also be coming to Nintendo Switch later this year.
