New Update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Adds Breath of the Wild Content

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, News, Nintendo, Originals, Switch, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Over a year after its release, Nintendo has pushed out a new update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that adds new content based on a popular 2017 Switch release.

That’s right, new content from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has made its way into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe via update v1.6.0. With this patch comes a new skin for Link featuring himself in his blue tunic from Breath of the Wild as well as the Master Cycle Zero, the bike that was featured in last year’s Champions’ Ballad DLC for Breath of the Wild.

Nintendo has released a new trailer showing off both Link in his new gear and the Master Cycle Zero and it looks about like you’d expect. While this update doesn’t add a whole lot more to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it’s cool to see that Nintendo is still updating the game with free content like this so far after release.

You can find the latest video featuring Link and the Master Cycle Zero below. This new update should be available now so if you wanna grab your Switch and dive back into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, go for it.
