Following the announcement of the New Nintendo 3DS XL for European markets this past August, the Japanese video game company quietly announced the SNES-themed Nintendo 3DS XL would be released in North America on November 27, 2017.  Currently, the product is available for pre-order and will cost $199.99.

Based on the design, the console will look entirely different from its European counterpart, and similar to the original North American model of the SNES. Much like other Nintendo 3DS XL models, unfortunately, the product will not include an AC adapter — in other words, you’ll have to save the one from your previous system or buy one if this is your first Nintendo 3DS system. Despite not including an AC adapter, those who do purchase the SNES-themed 3DS will receive a digital code for Super Mario Kart, free of charge.

This is not the first limited edition-themed Nintendo 3DS XL Nintendo has released this year; in September, the company revealed a Samus-themed Nintendo 3DS XL, which was released simultaneously with the latest installment in the Metroid series Metroid: Samus Returns. Additionally, earlier this year, a “Pikachu Yellow Edition” was released in North Amerca.

In other Nintendo news, this past weekend, upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive Super Mario Odyssey showing off the game’s co-op feature. You can check out several screenshots of the new 3DS below.
