Today, during two stage events at Jump Festa at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Near Tokyo, Bandai Namco showcased two matches of the upcoming online battle game Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.

The first match is shown from the perspective of all four players, using established characters against a team of custom avatars that can be created within the game. Funnily, the player using Naruto (who also was the one the camera focused to) was really keen on falling into the chasm to his death.

The second match shows each player in full screen, just alternating between them. Once more it’s a team of the established heroes from the anime against custom characters.

The gameplay mode is basically a capture-the-flag made more challenging by the pitfalls of the environment combined with the attacks by the enemy team.

You can check out the video below. If you want to see more, you can enjoy more gameplay from yesterdaythe first gameplay trailer, even more gameplay from a few months ago, and an extensive trailer from Gamescom.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will launch for PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2018. At the moment there is no precise release window beside the year.
