Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released a new batch of screenshots of its upcoming anime game My Hero One’s Justice, which despite the weird western title, it’s actually a My Hero Academia game named in Japan My Hero Academia: One’s Justice.

First and foremost, we get to see various combat mechanics, starting with the “Hero Combo” that can be executed with a single button. The number of hits varies by character. Guard-disabling attacks let you push past an enemy guard, but they are slower. Counter attacks do exactly what they say on the tin, but they lose against guard-disabling attacks or attacks with many hits. Each character can use three “personal” skills activated by various combinations of button and skills. There are also two Plus Ultra techniques, that can be executed by consuming Plus Ultra rage gauge.

Special actions include Just Guard, which is a guard executed with perfect timing, leaving the enemy temporarily dazed. Guard Break is the result of a sustained attack that reduces an enemy guard’s value to zero. Receiving a lot of damage in a short time frame results in a stun. Last, but not least, it’s possible to throw an enemy against the wall and follow up by jumping on the wall as well. When that happens, the battle will continue on the wall itself vertically.

On top of that, we also get to see more images of Kyoka Jiro, Eijiro Kirishima, and Fumikage Tokoyami, which were introduced a couple of weeks ago.

My Hero One’s Justice will come for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch in North America and Europe this year, while Japan will get only the PS4 and Switch versions on August 23rd.
