Today Bandai Namco officially revealed My Hero Academia: One’s Justice and released the first screenshots and key artwork.

The game is a battle action game that will come for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, and has been teased for a little over a week with a site displaying a microwave and an egg, and then announced on Shueisha’s on Weekly Jump. No release window has been announced.

We get a look at protagonist Izuku Midoriya, a boy who dreams to become a hero but doesn’t have the required superpower named “quirk.” Yet, after saving a bully from a villain, the world’s greatest hero All Might grants him his own quirk “One For All”.

The villain is Tomura Shigaraki, leader of the League of Villains with the goal to kill All Might himself. He is shrouded in mystery, but thanks to his quirk “Decay” he can disintegrate matters by touching it with his hand. That being said, contact with all five fingers is required.

My Hero Academia is a superhero manga initially designed for a young male demographic and serialized since July 2014. It’s still ongoing and generated a TV anime series that started in 2016. It even had a game for 3DS titled My Hero Academia: Battle for All, developed by the usual studio Dimps.

Interestingly, in Japan, it has become successful also among young ladies and having been dragged by a friend into a themed cafe in Tokyo, I can say I never saw so many girly drinks in my life. They were good, though.

A reveal trailer will be showcased at Jump Festa this month. You can see the first screenshots and key art below.
