Monster Hunter World X Street Fighter V Crossover Costumes Shine in Trailer and Gameplay Footage

Monster Hunter World, News, Originals, PC, PS4, Street Fighter V, Trailers, Xbox One

Today, at Evo Japan 2018, Capcom showcased the crossover content that will come to both Monster Hunter World and Street Fighter V.

First of all, we see a trailer of Ryu and Sakura’s costumes coming to Monster Hunter World that were revealed by Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto earlier this morning. Both costumes will be attainable via in-game event quests, and those who own Street Fighter V will have early access to those missions. They’re one-piece armor sets and cannot be mixed with other sets, but you can wear them regardless of gender. So if you want your female hunter to be Ryu, you can now fulfill that dream. After all, she quite possibly already has a beard.

The second video that you’ll see below is an exhibition match played by using two of the Monster Hunter World costumes that will come to Street Fighter V. We see Ken’s Rathalos armor costume, and Ibuki’s Kirin armor costume. Unfortunately, the third was not showcased, but we know that it’s a Zinogre armor for R.Mika.

Players will be able to earn these costumes in game as well. You’ll need to pass four challenge over four weeks for each costume in the game’s Extra Battle mode.
