Capcom released today a new TV commercial of its upcoming mainline Monster Hunter game Monster Hunter World.
The commercial comes in the usual brief thirty seconds format, but still packs quite a bit of content through competent pacing, including characters and story moments, and a look at the game’s monsters.
With January being almost here, we’re less than a month away from the release of the game, and it almost feels surreal than less than a year ago, we did not know anything about it. Going from announcement to release in six month certainly seems to work well.
You can check out the commercial below.
If you want to learn more about Monster Hunter World, you can also check out a recent batch of screenshots showing the folks at the Survey Resource Management Office, footage showing a hunt for Nergigante, a series of mini-trailers, a trailer from a few days ago, more screenshots showing more of the game’s most relevant NPCs, and our comparison between the three graphics modes on PS4 Pro.
Incidentally, we also recently learned that the game’s dedicated PS4 Pro console sold 33,000 units in Japan on its debut week. If you have a PS4 yourself, you also have a few hours left to try the open beta.
Monster Hunter World will launch worldwide on January 26th, for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC version coming at a later date.
