Monster Hunter: World for PC Gets a Fall 2018 Release Window

Monster Hunter: World is one of the most anticipated titles coming to console owners in the beginning of the year, and while PC players will have to wait a little longer before they can venture out and take on gigantic monsters to slay, Capcom has provided a new release window for the game’s PC version on the way.

Over on the game’s official Twitter account, a video from producer Ryozo Tsujimoto revealed that the PC version of Monster Hunter: World is “currently being optimized” and is targeting a release in fall 2018, putting its release later this year after the console version arrives at the end of January.

In addition to the release window for the PC version, Tsujimoto also shared that free updates for the game across consoles and PC are also planned after release, which will specifically include new monsters and much that will provide fans with “lots to look forward to.”

Monster Hunter: World will release worldwide for PS4 and Xbox One on January 26th, 2018, while the PC version can be expected sometime later this year in the fall. In the meantime, you can check out the full New Year’s update video from the game’s producer Ryozo Tsujimoto below:
