Today Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a trailer revealing a DLC character that will come for Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

The character is named “Forthog Orc-Slayer,” and can appear when the player is down and about to be killed, saving him from certain death and killing the aggressor.

The story behind Forthog is much deeper, though, as he has been created in remembrance of Mike “Forthog” Forgey, who was the game’s Executive Producer and passed away during development due to cancer.

From every purchase of the character made in the United States until December 31st, 2019, $3.50 will be donated to the Forgey family.

Below, you can see Forthog in action, and if you want to see more about the game, you can check out the “Orc Tales” trailer from earlier today, a definitely off-color trailer for the Marauder tribe,  another video showing the Terror Tribe, one showing the Machine tribe, one showing off the endgame, a rather long one showing more of Cirith Ungol and the Terror Tribe, more footage showing the marketplacesome recent gameplay from San Diego Comic Conthe trailer featuring Shelobanother story trailer, and one introducing the Nemesis Forge system.

Also, you should definitely read our hands-on preview. At E3 2017, Middle-earth: Shadow of War won our staff-voted Game of Show award.

The game will released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 10.
