Microsoft Advertises Xbox Game Pass Subscription Service with Funny Trailer

Microsoft, Originals, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One

Today Microsoft released a new trailer to advertise its recently-launched service Xbox Game Pass.

The trailer features the service as a drive-through, with customers asking for this or that game, only to react incredulously when they are told that they can get them all.

Yeah, it’s a lot funnier when you actually watch it, as opposed to me describing it.

The service offers a selection of a hundred Xbox One and Xbox 360 games (changing monthly) that subscribers can download on their own console, differing for similar offerings that feature streaming from a remote server. It costs $9.99 a month.

Recently, Microsoft’s executives mentioned that Xbox Game Pass is “off to a very good start” and is “showing promising early results.” CEO Satya Nadella himself explained that the goal of the service is to become a sort of “Netflix of Games” accessible across different devices.

You can check out the trailer for yourself below, and see if it entices you to make the jump.
