Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 ESRB Listing Appears as One Title for Switch

This past December, we reported that both Mega Man Legacy Collection titles would be ported over to Nintendo’s hybrid console, however, recent information has surfaced on the internet indicating that both compilations may be packaged as one collection.

A new ESRB listing has appeared on the ratings board’s website titled merely Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2; not only has the game been rated by the ESRB, but the description provided by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board also indicates that this combines all ten games into one big package for Nintendo Switch owners. No official word has come yet from Capcom, but the ESRB rating makes it clear that both games will not be sold separately.

Mega Man Legacy Collection launched for 3DS PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii-U and contained the first six games featuring the original blue bomber. While Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 launched last year for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and included Mega Man 7 through Mega Man 10.

While we don’t know for sure yet if this is a reality until Capcom makes an official announcement, it would make sense for Capcom to bundle up all ten games into one complete set.

As mentioned in earlier paragraphs both Mega Man Legacy Collection games are available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, while the Switch version(s) are slated to launch sometime this year.
