Media Create: Gundam Versus and PS4 Top This Week’s Japanese Sales Chart

Today, Media Create released its weekly sales chart of the Japanese video game market.

For the week between July 3rd and July 9th, Bandai Namco’s new release Gundam Versus has replaced Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology as Japan’s top-dog. Meanwhile Mario Kart 8 Deluxe green-shelled its way back to No.2. Rounding out the top five is ARMS at No.3, and Omega Labyrinth Z slotting in at No.4 with its PS4 version and at No.5 with its PS Vita version. Notably, if you combine the sales of the two then it would be bumped up to No.2.

As for hardware, if you combine the sales of PS4 and PS4 Pro then the PS4 family is the chart-topper. However, if you look at each piece of hardware individually then the crown would belong to Nintendo Switch.

All of this week’s new additions to the Top 20 include: Gundam Versus at No.1 and Omega Labyrinth Z at No.4 and No.5 (or No.2 depending on how you want to look at it).
