Danish developer Flashbulb Games (formerly Press Play) has announced that it has teamed up with publisher (and developer) Wired Productions to bring its physics-based puzzle-platformer, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, to PS4 later this year, both digitally and at retail.

As you may know, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a former Xbox One exclusive (Microsoft actually published the title) that released all the way back in December 2013. It then came to Xbox 360, as well as PC, in May 2014.

For those that don’t know: Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a cinematic fairy-tale family game where Scandinavian storytelling meets colorful 2.5D platforming. You play as Max, who armed with only a Magic Marker, must confront evil in an equally hostile and fantastical world in order to save his younger brother, Felix.

Max: Curse of Brotherhood notably boasts an “Overwhelmingly Positive” Steam User Review ranking, with 95% of 800 reviewers reviewing it positively. Meanwhile, critically, the game has garnered a solid 72 (Xbox One) on Metacritic.

Max: Curse of Brotherhood normally runs at $14.99 USD, but at the moment of writing this, a price-point for the PS4 version has not been divulged.
