Tokyo RPG Factory’s I Am Setsuna spiritual successor Lost Sphear is releasing soon in the West, and publisher Square Enix is getting people hyped with a brand new trailer. And while many pre-launch trailers will focus on gameplay or story, Square Enix is highlighting one thing in particular: the game’s terrific soundtrack.

Showing off serene piano melodies along with more action-packed tunes, it’s hard to deny that Tomoki Miyoshi’s has a knack for composing soundtracks. Meanwhile, you can also notice some of the gameplay and scenery flashing in the backgrounds of the trailer.

If you don’t immediately recognize the name Tomoki Miyoshi, don’t be too concerned. Compared to many names in the Square Enix catalog of composers, he is one of the fresher faces. However, the 25-year-old musician is best known for his work with I Am Setsuna — a game notably praised for its excellent soundtrack.

Lost Sphear releases in a little over a week in the West on January 23, 2018 for Nintendo Switch, PC, and PS4; the game is currently out in Japan. However, if you would rather get a taste of the game right now, you can play the demo (on any of the above platforms) that’s been available for over a month. Meanwhile, check out the music trailer below:
