London Detective Mysteria Announced for PC and PS Vita Before Appearance at Anime Expo

Publisher XSEED unveiled its Anime Expo 2018 lineup today, which features several previously known titles like Fate/EXTELLA LINK, Gungrave VR, Gal Metal, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, and Freedom Planet. That being said, they will also be showing off one new title which was announced today: London Detective Mysteria. 

London Dectective Mysteria is a visual novel coming to both PC and PlayStation Vita this fall. This same title previously released in Japan as Eikoku Tantei Mysteria: The Crown, but its name was changed by XSEED, who is in charge of publishing the game in the west. According to the publisher: London Detective Mysteria will be playable to the public at Anime Expo.

For those of you who want to learn more about London Detective Mysteria, this visual novel takes place in the 19th century, exploring the “darkest corners” of London during that time period. Players take the role of the heiress to the prominent House Whiteley, and will investigate various happening around London. Players will be able to name the playable character whatever they want, and will also run into historical characters like Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper.

When it comes to the conversation side of things, players will be able to choose various dialogue options that impact relationship and the game’s endings. During conversations, the text speed and speaking volumes can be adjusted by the player.

London Detective Mysteria will release on PC and PS Vita sometime this fall, and publisher XSEED Games is sure to reveal more about this title and the rest of their lineup during and after Anime Expo, which takes place from July 5 to July 8 in Los Angeles.
