Location for Halo World Championship 2018 Finals Revealed

As the finals for the Halo World Championship this year slowly creeps onto our calendars, today, Microsoft has unveiled the location, for which the impending event will be held at.

According to the press release, this year the event will be held in Seattle, Washington at CenturyLink Field. The finals are scheduled to begin on Friday, April 13 and will conclude on Sunday, April 15. During the three-day event, the top sixteen teams in the league will duke it out in Halo 5: Guardians‘ matches for a chance to be crown that season’s champions, one million dollar in prize money (as well as bragging rights).

Regarded as the biggest and most prestigious event for the Halo esports calendar. The Halo Championship series is a professional Halo league established in 2014 and is sponsored by the game’s developer 343 Industries as well as its publisher Microsoft.

Tickets for the finals are set to go on sale on Thursday, February 22.
