As a prequel to the surprise hit from 2015, Life is Strange: Before the Storm brought players back into the world of Arcadia Bay as Chloe and Rachel Amber form a close friendship, with the prequel series’ final act coming in just a few weeks.
Publisher Square Enix has announced that the third and final episode for Life is Strange: Before the Storm, titled “Hell is Empty,” will officially release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on December 20th, 2017. In addition to the release date announcement, Square also dropped a new teaser trailer that provides a quick look at what’s to come from the final episode, while a full trailer for the episode is arriving tomorrow.
Notably, the Deluxe Edition of Before the Storm also features a special “bonus” episode titled “Farewell,” which will also see the return of voice actresses Ashly Burch and Hannah Telle reprising their original roles of Chloe and Max, as Burch was unable to return to the role for Before the Storm while Max has not appeared in any of the episodes of the prequel series.
