The League of Legends World Championships 2018 continue tomorrow and this is North America’s year to win the whole thing. You heard it here first.

If North America were to stand a chance at winning Worlds this year, it stands to reason that the hopes of the region lie most on Team Liquid, the team which won both the Spring and Summer Splits in the 2018 NA LCS. The team is led by bottom laner Doublelift, who recently won the Summer Split MVP.

Today, a new video was released to promote Doublelift specifically and his journey to Worlds 2018. Done in the style of an anime opening–and even featuring music from My Hero Academia–this hype video showcases the career arc of Doublelift that led to him now being on Team Liquid. It also highlights some of the famed champions that he has used over the years such as Jhin, Lucian, and Jinx.

All in all, it’s a really rad video and makes me that much more excited for tomorrow’s games. I’m normally not a Team Liquid fan but at Worlds, it’s more about cheering for your region rather than your own team. Hopefully, TL can bring some pride to NA because I definitely don’t think 100 Thieves or Cloud9 stand a chance.

The new video is below if you’d like to check it out. Team Liquid kicks things off bright and early tomorrow morning at 4 AM EST in the opening match of the Worlds Group Stage. They’ll be squaring off against kt Rolster, the team widely considered the favorite to win the whole tournament. It should be a fun opening match.
