Today NIS America released another new trailer for Nippon Ichi Software’s upcoming dungeon-crawling JRPG Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk.

In today’s video recorded as usual from the PS4 version, we get to see that the foxy witch Dronya isn’t so squeamish about doing something slightly illegal to further her plans. On the other hand, Luca really is an insufferable whiner.

Thanks to this trailer we get to see even more of Dronya’s dry and funny personality, and we get another taste of the English voice acting. Unfortunately, part of the hilarity of the scene has probably been lost in translation. Luca calls Dronya “auntie” which is probably an adaptation of what in Japanese might have been “obasan.” That’s typically not well received by ladies in Japan (and especially in Japanese media, as this is a popular anime trope) because it indicates that they’re seen as old. “Auntie” doesn’t really have the same impact.

That being said, the Japanese track will be included, so you’ll be able to enjoy the original dialogue if you so wish.

You can enjoy video below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy a second clip from last weekanother from the week before, a much longer video we recorded back in February and the original announcement with the first trailer.

Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk will launch this fall on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. If you want to reserve your copy early, you can do so on Amazon.
