Entergram published today the opening movie for Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! ~Kibou no Meikyuu to Tsudoishi Boukenshatachi~, the upcoming Konosuba dungeon crawler RPG on PS4 and Vita. The game’s official site was also updated with new character portraits and profiles.

While they tried their best to make it as dynamic as possible, the opening “animation” is clearly lacking in animation, and is made out of still pictures sliding around and with lots of effects. This is nothing shocking if you’re used to it, as most Japanese games which feature anime openings tend to be this way. Not everyone can have an anime opening as cool as Trails of Cold Steel III‘s, finally coming west this Fall. Better late than never.

The end of the trailer also shows the game’s Limited Edition. We’ve already detailed the Limited Edition and all the shop specific pre-order bonuses in a past article, for those planning to import the game. First print copies of the game will also include the bonus game God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!,  ~Let’s Educate a Useless Goddess~.which seems to be a Princess Maker clone featuring Aqua.

As for the characters you can add to your party, six more have been revealed. First off we’ve got Yunyun, Megumin’s self-proclaimed rival from the Crimson Demon Clan. Her clan is full of weird people, and being the only normal member she sometimes doesn’t feel at ease in it. Her class in the game is Archwizard.

Next is Chris, Darkness’ friend. She taught a certain stealing skill to Kazuma back when he was starting out as an adventurer. Her class in the game is Thief.

Then we’ve got Wiz, the shopkeeper of a magic item shop in the town of Axel. She’s a pacifist and a hard worker but has no business sense. It seems she’s hiding her real identity. She’s an Archwizard in the game.

After that, we’ve got Mitsurugi, a handsome adventurer who wields the demon sword Gram. His class is Swordmaster.

Next, we’ve got Vanir, a mysterious demon wearing a mask. He feeds on negative emotions emitted by humans such as shame, and he has foresight powers. His class is unknown.

Lastly, we have Ran, an adventurer from the town of Axel. She knows Kazuma through a quest he did in the past. Her class is Adventurer.

Portraits for each character are in the gallery below.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! ~Kibou no Meikyuu to Tsudoishi Boukenshatachi~ was announced back in November with a first trailer. The game releases on March 28 in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. KonoSuba is super popular in the west, so it’s not impossible the game gets localized, but there have been no announcements for now.
