Earlier today during a Nintendo Direct, Nintendo showed off two new Kirby games, one of which is Kirby: Battle Royale, a multiplayer title for 3DS that is going to release on January 19, 2018. Following this announcement, Nintendo released an image of the game’s box art and quite a few screenshots and pieces of artwork for the game.

The screenshots highlight many of the game’s different online multiplayer modes. In total, the game will include ten; the two modes named so far are Battle Arena and Ore Express, though other unnamed ones are shown in these screenshots. While the game includes online multiplayer, it was also revealed that Kirby: Battle Royale will have a single player story mode and regional online battles for players to partake in.

Meanwhile, the artwork features a ton of cute Kirby abilities that the players can use in the game, along with a stray Waddle Dee, King Dedede, and two Waddle Dees carrying a cake. This year marked the Kirby series’ 25th anniversary, and Nintendo celebrated this with two other 3DS games earlier this year, Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, and Kirby’s Blowout Blast.

While the game isn’t releasing in 2017, it is still technically launching within the anniversary year, as Kirby’s Dream Land came out in April of 1992. To celebrate this anniversary, Nintendo is holding a poll to see what the community’s favorite copy ability for Kirby is.

You can check out the artwork, box art, and screenshots below. Kirby: Battle Royale launches exclusively on Nintendo 3DS on January 19 of next year.
