Kingdom Hearts III’s New Trailer Reveals Winnie the Pooh and Hundred Acre Wood

Kingdom Hearts III, News, Originals, PS4, Square-Enix, Xbox One

During today’s X018 event from Mexico City, a new trailer for Square Enix’s highly-anticipated release of Kingdom Hearts III was released.

While this new video shows off a variety of worlds in Kingdom Hearts III that we have seen in the past, most notably, this trailer unveils the Hundred Acre Wood location, which is home to Winnie the Pooh. Fans that have played past Kingdom Hearts games are likely familiar with Winnie the Pooh’s appearance in the series, and his inclusion here once again isn’t really a surprise.

As for what players will be doing in the Hundred Acre Wood, Square Enix said it will mainly consist of mini-games. Again, much like in past games, this is what Pooh’s location has always been made up of, so to see it staying the same here in Kingdom Hearts III isn’t shocking.

In addition to Pooh, we also see a few new story moments from the larger narrative arc that will be told in Kingdom Hearts III. If you’re trying to avoid spoilers in the lead up to release, then you might want to do yourself a favor and just skip out on watching this one.

If you would like to check it out though, we have attached today’s new trailer to the bottom of this page. Kingdom Hearts III is due out early next year on January 29 for PS4 and Xbox One.
