Kill la Kill The Game: IF Is Making Its Way onto Nintendo Switch

Today, Arc System Works revealed that they’ll be porting their upcoming anime-brawler Kill la Kill The Game: IF onto the Nintendo Switch. The Switch version will be releasing alongside the PS4 and PC version. It’ll be available in Japan as well as the west sometime in 2019.

Two new playable characters were also revealed alongside the Nintendo Switch news. Nui Harime, a lesser villain from the Kill la Kill series was revealed alongside Ragyo Kiryuin, who is actually one of the series’ main antagonists. You can check out some screenshots of both characters below.

In other Kill la Kill The Game: IF news, earlier this month The Elite Four were revealed as in-game fighters. Back in September, Arc System Works gave fans some new story details as well as other additional fighters.

If you’re unfamiliar with the original source material, Kill la Kill is an anime and manga that originally was aired in 2013. The manga was published in 2015. Storywise, we follow a young girl named Ryuko Matoi who’s searching for her father’s killer. The series was animated by Studio Trigger who also recently did the opening animation for two video games called Indivisible and Shin Kaku Gi Kou
