Jimmy Fallon, host of NBC’s The Tonight Show, is no stranger to Nintendo games. Just last week pop singer Ariana Grande and The Roots performed the new single “No Tears Left to Cry” on Fallon’s program exclusively using Nintendo Labo instruments. Similarly, back in December of 2016, Fallon introduced living rooms around the world to the Nintendo Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with the help of living legend Shigeru Miyamoto and Reginald Fils-Aimé. And how he’s got to show his skills in Mario Tennis Aces.

The long-standing relationship between Nintendo and Fallon continued today when Fallon got to demo the upcoming title Mario Tennis Aces in a new video published on The Tonight Show’s YouTube page. In the video Fallon shows off the various ways to play the game, first utilizing the games motions controls in “swing mode”, and then switching to the more conventional “grip mode”. Throughout the remainder of the video Fallon shows off more of the games new features, including the new character Chain-Chomp.

Mario Tennis Aces, due out in exactly a month from today, is the latest entry in the Mario Tennis series since the lackluster Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash. Nintendo has been hard at work promoting the upcoming title in recent weeks, releasing a plethora of new trailers and announcing an online demo where players can face off against one another.

Mario Tennis Aces will be released for the Nintendo Switch on June 22, 2018. If you think you can outdo Fallon’s performance, make sure to pick up Mario Tennis Aces via Amazon. Watch Fallon’s demo of the game below:
