The survival horror game Dead By Daylight has seen some massive success ever since its release back in 2016. With continuous events, updates, and new characters, it’s no wonder why players keep coming back for more. Season 18 has been going strong with the introduction of the new killers the Twins, but it seems like we may have already gotten a glimpse at the DBD new killer.
People seem to think that the new killer is going to be a character from the popular horror game franchise Five Nights at Freddy’s. Fans have been asking for a character such as Freddy Fazbear or one of his friends for a while now, but the latest hints and teasers from the DBD devs finally seem to hint that that’s the direction they’re headed.
Last week, the official Dead By Daylight Twitter account tweeted this:

For those who don’t know, the gameplay from the original Five Nights at Freddy’s consisted of looking at multiple static-ridden computer monitors in search of murderous animatronics. The scene tweeted by Dead by Daylight is definitely reminiscent of the game. That alone, however, doesn’t automatically scream FNAF.
While it’s been changed since, the Dead by Daylight Twitter account had also changed its logo when this was tweeted. The new logo looked exactly as it had before, however, static glitches had been added to it making it look similar to the FNAF logo.
Remember to take these things with a grain of salt as they’re rumored and not confirmed by developers yet, but it seems like a lot of fans are feeling confident. That said, any addition or DBD new killer is always appreciated and welcomed into the game with open arms.
