Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone (@ConcernedApe) has officially announced the release of the new Stardew Valley Update 1.5 on Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. How to Download Stardew Valley Update 1.5 on Nintendo Switch
Updating Stardew Valley to update 1.5 on the Nintendo Switch is extremely easy. Here are the steps you need to follow:
Step 1.
Turn on your Nintendo Switch console.
Step 2.
Make sure to connect your Nintendo Switch console to the internet. This is as simple as tapping the Home button, navigating to System Settings -> Internet -> Internet Settings -> and then finally to the network of your choice!
Step 3.
Next, scroll over to Stardew Valley in your Nintendo Switch home menu. You will be prompted to update the game before continuing. Agree and let the update download.
Step 4.
Once installed, enjoy!
Xbox
Updating Stardew Valley on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S is also pretty simple. And again, you only need to follow this simple sequence of steps to get it downloaded and installed. This is primarily based on how the Xbox One menu works, but it’s a similar process on Xbox Series X / S.
Step 1.
Turn on your Xbox console.
Step 2.
Navigate to Network settings from the Settings menu. From here, tap on Set Up Wireless Network, then navigate to the one you’d like to connect to.
For Series X / S it’s Profile & system -> Settings -> General -> Network settings.
Alternatively, you can just plug an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the back of your Xbox, which hardwires a wired connection instead of a wireless one.
Step 3.
Once you get a message saying “Everything is good”, go back to your home menu and attempt to start up Stardew Valley. You should receive a prompt to update to the new update, otherwise switch on Auto Update (in Settings -> Power & Startup -> Power Mode & Startup -> Instant-on).
Step 4.
Let the update download and install.
Step 5.

PlayStation
Once more, updating Stardew Valley on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 uses a pretty similar process to the other ones. And, once again, this part of the guide is mainly based on how to navigate the PlayStation 4 menu.
Step 1.
Turn on your PlayStation console.
Step 2.
From the start menu, navigate over to Settings in the utility bar.
Step 3.
On the PlayStation 4 console, the next selection you’ll tap on is Set Up Network Connection. On the PlayStation 5, however, there’s an extra step where you’ll need to tap another Settings icon before you see Set Up Network Connection.
From here, both work pretty similarly. Tap on WiFi, and then select Easy and navigate through the menu to your network of choice. Or you can just plug an Ethernet cable into the back of your PlayStation console to hardwire the connection.
Step 4.
Like the other consoles, go over to where the Stardew Valley icon appears on your home menu and attempt to start it. From here, you’ll be prompted to update to the Stardew Valley Update 1.5. Accept this.
Step 5.
Let the update download and install.
Step 6.
Go play the new update!
