For the first time in several weeks, Monster Hunter World has been beaten at retail in Japan. The honor belongs to Sega’s Hokuto Ga Gotoku.

The PS4 exclusive based on Fist of the North Star isn’t enough to hold the Switch at bay, and Nintendo’s new console dominates hardware.

A last interesting detail is the fact that the PS4 Pro nearly matched the base PS4 in numbers. It’s certainly possible that Sony ramped up shipments of the upgraded console, since it has always been rather rare, at least in Tokyo.
