Blizzard Entertainment revealed Hearthstone‘s next expansion, The Witchwood, alongside a goofy announcement video flaunting some of the set’s new features.

The upcoming expansion’s theme is based on the city of Gilneas, a kingdom that houses many Worgen citizens. Some cards, such as “Baku the Mooneater and “Genn Greymane” will grant you bonuses for having a deck that only contains even or odd-cost cards. Additionally, cards such as “Pumpkin Peasant” will swap its attack and health each turn while in-hand.

The Witchwood will add 135 new cards, some of which will have the new Echo and Rush abilities. Echo cards will allow you to play it as many times as you’d like in a single turn as long as you have the mana for it. Minions with the Rush ability are similar to those with Charge, allowing you to attack the same turn the card was cast. However, the new move is limited to only minions.

Similar to Kobolds & Catacombs‘ Dungeon Run, The Witchwood‘s single-player mode, Monster Hunt, will let you choose a hero to fight a variety of bosses and collect their bounties to build a deck to further progress. The mode will be available two weeks after the expansion releases.

Hearthstone‘s The Witchwood will launch in mid-April for PC, iOS, and Android. Those who pre-purchase the expansion will garner a 50 card pack bundle, the In a Dark Wood card back, and 20 extra The Witchwood card packs. The official Hearthstone Twitch channel will conduct card reveal livestream for the new set on March 26th at 11 a.m. PDT.
