Idea Factory International released new screenshots for Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms, coming to PlayStation Vita on March 13 in North America and March 16 in Europe and PC this Spring.

The screenshots detail two of the available bachelors, Hajime Saito and Keisuke Sanan. Additionally, players can get a preview of a few of the story scenes and English localization.

Hajime Saito is known as the “lone-wolf” and is acting captain of the Shinsengumi’s 3rd Division. He doesn’t conversate with people much because he finds interacting meaningless. However, the deeper part of his seriousness stems from his childhood.

Growing up, Saito was mocked for being left-handed, which is considered a disadvantage. So to prove these people wrong, he became skilled at the sword style “iai” and mastering the technique. Chizuru finds herself curious about his intentions and finds out more about his in every encounter.

On the other hand, Keisuke Sanan is the Shinsengumi colonel who is logical and reserved. He obsesses over discovering an antidote for the Water of Life, because of the guilt he suffers over what he’s done to the Fury Corps.

During Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms, Sanan must come to terms with his guilt and Chizuru might play a part in helping him accept himself as a Fury.

Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms stars returning protagonist, Chizuru, who is in search of her missing father. However, after running into trouble, the Shinsengumi joined to assist in her search. After four years, in 1868, the final year of the Bakumatsu Period, the entire party is preparing to take part in the Battle of Toba-Fushimi to decide the future of the Tokugawa Shogunate against the rising tide of Imperial Nationalism. Sadly, the Shinsengumi had to retreat.

Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms focuses on the struggles that the Chizuru and the party face to hold onto their principles and continue living as the social climate in Japan changes.

In case you missed it, new screenshots were recently released of the demon boy Chikage Kazama.
