Get ready for some street-fighting action, except the street is an unforgiving jungle with a beautiful ecosystem full of amazing creatures that want to murder you. That’s right: it’s time for the Monster Hunter World x Street Fighter collaboration event, and with it, a chance to hadouken a goddamn Rathalos in the face.
Yep.
Ryu and Sakura join the exclusive full-skin armor crew in this ongoing event, and boy, does Capcom know how to cut a trailer. Perhaps the most jarring aspect of this trailer is seeing Ryu and Sakura accompanied by a plethora of weapons rather than just their fists and massive biceps, but if you can get over that, you’re in for a treat.
You can check out the updated event list for Monster Hunter World here while you enjoy replaying the part of the trailer where Ryu fights a Rathalos. You can also get hyped about the Capcom announcement of that Switch users are Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, which I’m certainly hyped about if that helps at all.
