It’s an annual, huge event held in Japan for fans of the franchise, whose mobile RPG is among the most popular mobage in the world. During the event, Cygames shared new trailers and gameplay, revealing Lancelot, Vane, Percival, and Siegfried as playable characters. Granblue Fantasy Relink Director Tetsuya Fukuhara also shared a development update, most notably details about the game’s release date.

Granblue Fantasy Relink was initially produced by both Cygames and Platinum Games. However, in early 2019, the title switched to a 100% Cygames in-house production, with Platinum Games leaving the project. Director Tetsuya Fukuhara explained that since then, Cygames has been working on Granblue Fantasy Relink‘s engine to improve it.
