Today Cygames announced that its popular mobile JRPG Granblue Fantasy has passed twenty million registered players.

In order to celebrate the achievement, players will be able to take advantage of two weeks of freebies. From tomorrow, April 3rd, at 5 PM Japan time, until Wednesday April 18th at the same hour, we’ll get one premium 10-part draw for free every day. This incidentally means that the first day will overlap with the current Premium Gala for two hours (it ends tomorrow at 7 PM Japan Time), so it’s advisable to get the first draw done before that expires for doubled SSR rates.

On top of that, we’ll also get 200 crystals every day, 1.5 RP and EXP for each quest done, halved AP and EP costs pretty much across the board, and a couple more miscellaneous perks.

On top of this, we learn that the Detective Conan anime collaboration will start on April 8th. Among the characters featured are Conan himself, Tooru Amuro, Hiroshi Agasa, and Ai Haibara. Detective Barawa and his assistant Sarya will also appear from the Granblue Fantasy side.

While this has not been officially confirmed just yet, normally collaboration events grant players a free SSR character, which in this case is probably going to be Conan. Another rather relevant crossover event is coming in June, featuring Persona 5.

Granblue Fantasy is currently available only in Japan (but including an English localization) for iOS, Android, and PC via browsers. You can read how to install it and play in hour handy guide, as these events are probably going to help new players quite a bit thanks to the free chances at SSR characters.

Cygames is also working on a rather impressive action-JRPG for PS4 codenamed Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link.
