Today, during the Granblue Fantasy 4th Anniversary Livestream hosted by Cygames, two prominent crossover events were announced.

The first is with Atlus’ super-popular JRPG Persona 5, and in the gallery below you can check out an illustration that will be used for the event, featuring Joker and his persona, Arsène.

The second collaboration is with the classic anime and manga series Detective Conan. Well, to be precise, this one will be the first in terms of calendar, starting in April. The Persona 5 crossover will happen in June.

Granblue Fantasy is well known for this kind of crossovers, that normally include a fully-voiced questline featuring the characters from other games, anime, and manga. For instance, we recently saw Touken Ranbu, Card Captor Sakura, and Attack on Titan.

The mobile game (currently available for iOS and Android, with a Google App version getting discontinued soon due to Google dropping support for its own browser store) is about to celebrate its fourth anniversary on March 10th, and currently counts over 18 million registered players. It was never officially released in the west, despite the fact that it’s fully localized in English.

Cygames is also working on a rather impressive action-JRPG for PS4 codenamed Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link.
