Today Bandai Namco finally released in Japan God Eater: Resonant Ops for iOS and Android.
The game can be found here on Google Play, and here on iTunes. If you live outside of Japan, you’ll need a Japanese iTunes account, while for Android the popular application Qooapp should probably make it available regardless of region later today (they’re normally rather fast on the uptake).
The game is a direct sequel to God Eater 2: Rage Burst, so quite a few well-known characters make a comeback. It’s also advertised as a full-fledged JRPG despite being on mobile and free-to-play. We’ll have to wait and see if it lives up to that claim.

If you’re more interested in the grown-up version of God Eater, you can check out the latest trailer of God Eater 3, which will come later this year for PS4 and Steam. You can also enjoy the first gameplay, that definitely seems promising.
