Ghost Recon Breakpoint surely had a rough launch back in 2019, where most of the reviewers rated it as a mediocre experience that lacks in almost every major representation of a video game. However, this was not an end to a big project like Breakpoint. The team behind the game didn’t stop supporting it with more new content, major gameplay overhauls, and some big patches for tackling technical issues.
Now, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is miles away from its messy situation at launch, and Ubisoft is giving away an opportunity for every PC gamer to experience the game in its current state with access to all post-launch content and DLCs. You can start playing Breakpoint for free as of now until January 25th through Epic Games Store or Uplay.
In Breakpoint, your mission is to infiltrate the island of Aurora which has turned into a cutting-edge military base for a terrorist organization, whose leader is a former comrade of yours. Voice acted by John Bernthal, the main antagonist is the commander of the Wolves in Aurora who stole a futuristic AI project from its creators and used it to develop tons of terrorizing drones and military tech.
In an open-world map full of roaming Wolves, you have to tackle your objective one by one either on your own or with your real/AI friends. Most of the missions are about infiltrating different facilities or camps for applying some sabotage to the base digital equipment of the Wolves. Tactics and Teamplay is the first priority in every mission of Ghost Recon Breakpoint if you want to play it with your friends.
Everything depends on your plan for infiltration. You can set fire to the enemy base and raise chaos, or you can accomplish your objectives in total silence, leaving no trace.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Stadia, and PC. It’s worth noting that a crossover event between Rainbow Six Siege and Ghost Recon will go live today in Breakpoint.
