As we head into E3 season, major publishers typically begin to tease their lineups for the show. Ubisoft did this last year with games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and The Division 2, and they seem like they could be doing it yet again. Today, a website from Ubisoft for a fictional company called Skell Technology was created and is teasing an impending announcement.

Going to skell.ubisoft.com brings you to a page that says “Join us for SkellCon” with a time and date of 11:30am PT on May 9, 2019, being listed. If an announcement is being made, this is likely when it’s going to happen. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was recently unveiled in a similar manner at an “event” for a fictional company.

Clicking “About Us” on the website also brings you to the following video, which highlights all the good Skell Technology is apparently doing for the world.

For now, what this announcement applies to exactly is still up in the air. That being said, it is worth noting that Skell Technology is a company that exists in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, so it is likely that whatever this announcement is will be related to that series.

Just earlier this week, the popular Ubisoft title received an update called Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands: Operation Oracle that added a character played by The Punisher actor Jon Bernthal into the fray. The update is currently live across all three platforms (PS4, Xbox One, PC) that Ghost Recon Wildlands is available for.

Of course, whatever this potential announcement ends up being, you can expect DualShockers to let you know more next week after further details will seemingly be divulged.
