It’s hard to argue with killer savings, and that is exactly what Humble Monthly continues to offer month after month. The April Humble Monthly Bundle was definitely a banger, featuring Deus Ex: Mankind DividedGod Eater 2, and Mafia III. However, it doesn’t seem like the service is slowing down at all for May, offering Dead Rising 4RUINER!, and Kerbal Space Program (along with many more games down the line) for $12.

In case anyone is unaware, Humble Bundle’s monthly subscription service — aptly titled Humble Monthly Bundle — is the platform’s game subscription service where they offer roughly 5 to 8 games for $12. That price is even lower for yearly subscribers, who clock in a $1 discount for $11 per month. While the bundle is technically for May, a few of the games are earmarked as early unlock where paid subscribers can start downloading them right away.

The three Early Unlock games with May’s Humble Monthly Bundle, as mentioned above, are Kerbal Space ProgramDead Rising 4, and RUINER! — all easily worth the $12 price tag alone.

Kerbal Space Program is one of those games that took the world by storm in 2015, almost entirely by surprise. The developed by developer Squad as their debut game, the title has reached unprecedented success and is still selling consistently on Steam at its $40 price point. The game made its console debut in 2016 (launching an Enhanced Edition last January), and the property rights were later picked up by Rockstar and parent company Take-Two Interactive for an undisclosed price.

Meanwhile, Dead Rising 4 (despite coming from a well-known series) never shared the same success. The action-adventure zombie game launched exclusively for PC and Xbox One in December 2016 to stuttering sales. The game also failed to make a big splash on its PS4 launch (rebranded as Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package). Of course, we understand why — DualShockers reviewed the PS4 version of the game, awarding it a 6.5 out of 10 nothing that we “cannot say that this game is neither good nor bad.”

Last on the list is the least-known, but massively-underappreciated indie game RUINER! The top-down arcade shooter released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in September 2017 to generally mixed reviews, including from DualShockers who awarded the game a 6.5 out of 10 noting it was “style over substance.” However, developer Reikon Games has been working seemingly around the clock to add content since launch including multiple modes, weapons, leaderboards and more. Give the game a chance, especially if you are a fan of the genre and haven’t already.

Of course, these aren’t the only games you are getting with the $12 subscription — once April comes around, subscribers will get access to a handful of unannounced titles that they can also enjoy.

Anyone interested in grabbing these three games for bargain-barrel prices can subscribe to Humble Monthly Bundle here.
